Some GM ABS systems need the GM Tech2 dealer scanning device to engage the ABS modules solenoids for proper bleeding, whether that pertains to your situation I do not know. backfire under wide open throttle
If no spark, remove the dist cap and make sure rotor is turning. Test ignition module at your nearest autoparts store. Rare when coils fail but they do and are fairly cheap so swapping coil out may be something to try. Then dead-time the engine using TDC technique and confirm wires are correct...- Sad Sack
