how fast is your power window?

Does dash pad go under windshield weatherstripping?
Not trying to be funny or anything else, could you have left a small wrench or tool or even a rag on the dash before you placed the dash pad in ? The pad is held in by the six dash clips that connect to the back (Windshield side) of the pad and then held in by the four screws and the side... -

Heater Core question
Agree with @75gmck25 I discovered when I pulled my heater box ... IF you have not pulled the inner fender, you will find out that you have sooooooo much room to work with the wheel and inner fender off .. it is a pain .. yes, but you will find out why when you start working on the box. -

I finally gave up.
In my Opinion... Yes ... Absolutely ... That way all trimming is done and you know it will go into position and you will not damage your new dying job. Take your time in trimming ... one slip and your are going to be angry... Every post say's take a little at a time. Once trimmed, then clean... -
