    i have a 1984 gmc 3500 dually wrecker the sm465 is shot a friend sold me a np540 trans there is no place to mount the transmission mount because the 540 was originally mounted to the bellhousing and the sm465 housing will not fit the 540 is there any other way to mount the trans to my original...

    Np 435 into a gmc 3500

    I have a 1986 dodge 1 ton truck with a np435 manual trans i wanna install it in my 1984 gmc 3500 I know the np435 is a 23 spline and the Gm is a 10 spline can I swap the input shafts?
