Funnily enough. I've thought about that.
I happen to have 2 of thoes we use for construction.
Since I made the post tho ive decided imma just adapt my 79 ac to the 84.
Firewall is alrety screwed, went and testfitted and it fits.
Well in my long search for ac in my 1979 c10 with a 84 cab. I have always had diffent firewall holes. Drastically different.
I've budgeted and found vintage air is too expensive for what ive got going for me right now.
So in the last hour I made alot of progress into finding 1984 ac parts...
De lifting my c10, all I did was take out the lift blocks, but for some reason the allignment pins won't allighn. I can get one side on fine, but the other is off to the side by about an inch maybe 1/2 inch.
Well if you haven't figured it out I'm a little stupid.
Also thw awnser to my question is yes I should put the supposedly "broken" one in. Because it's not broken and works better than the other one. Who would've guessed....Not me.
So should I try 1 last time with that new mc. Or should I exchange it for a new one.
The brakes still suck but it is just barely good enough to drive. And I mean barely.
Alr so trying to out my solution in simplest terms.
The activator wire from my painless harness kit was not supplying any sort of power(to the L port of the altenator) when the key was on.
So in order to make a quick remedy to it i hooked the wire for the altenator (with resistor and...
Odd question... brakes are ... sub optimal. But good enough to drive while being carefull.
But the rubber seal on my master is on backwards. It actually seems to be the wrong one. I can't seem to find the correct one however. Could this be part of my issue?
