Thank you guys. Im gonna pull the motor next weekend . Problems
I pulled the valve cover and see no major signs up there. also pulled pan and see nothing major. oil was a abit shinny but no big hunks of metal or anything. he replaced the main bearings and rods just to be safe since we knew nothing about the motor also replaced the heads due to seeing a...- RaggedyRed85

Problems
I have a 1985 gmc 1500 4x4 that we swapped a 350 out of a 1995 yukon we converted this fuel injected motor to carb. put less than 500 miles on this used motor that i had a guy put new main bearings and rods in and also a timing chain the other day the truck backfired going down the highway...- RaggedyRed85
