1976 GMC C35 SM465 to GM ZF6
Well I finally did it. It bolts straight up. I got a hydraulic pedal set from an 89, built a bracket for the oe master so I could use the oe hose and have the correct bore and stroke. I got a new 454 flywheel and clutch /pressure plate for a 8 1 and it also bolts straight up. I'll have the...- Playher

Im putting it behind a 454. Hucked is correct, "plastic" I was referring to the clutch pedal and bracketry. I would assume that once calculating the correct throw/stroke, I could mount it anywhere in the mechanical linkage train and get the same result. I have scoured the internet for info and...- Playher

Hello, I found a GM ZF6 trans and it came with all the parts to convert including the clutch pedal assembly. I did not know they were made entirely of plastic. Well, today received a received the report from GM Heritage. There were 37 V20 Stepsides made in 1987. Probably why I'd never seen one till now. Correction, there were 38 made with one being a diesel and 37 being gas.- Playher
