    Well, I did charge from the high side...tank inverted, truck not running, vacuum on system. I stopped when the r12 flow slowed down, I was about 11ozs from full. I am getting cold air, about 54 degrees. I am looking for a small can of R12 to finish on the low side and hopefully get the vent temp...

    Thanks, Exactly what I have been reading. Vehicle not running, tank inverted (liquid) and open the valve slowly...and only partially open.

    Thanks for the reply. I watched a YouTube video and the guy said it can be done with the engine off but he didn't recommend it. Any idea why the 30# container would say inverted only?

    I recently picked up a half full 30# container of R12. The label on the container says only to use it on the inverted position. Is it ok to charge on the high side? I have a scale and can measure the charge. I'm having a hard time finding any R12 in smaller cans close by and I really don't want...

    Even better would be if someone could post a picture of the shoulder belt bolted into the "B" pillar with the plastic cover removed. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

    I am slowly getting the interior back together and am installing seat belts I got from LMC. The shoulderd 1/2 x 13 pillar bolts...did the have a spacer with them ? If they did I put them somewhere I was sure I would remember lol

    Mine was pretty well shot when I pulled it down. After shopping around I went withe the abs backed headliner from Classic Industries. It looks good and I managed to get it installed by myself.     I need to replace the window channel weatherstripping ony '87 V10. Do I need to take the window out or can I work around it? Or should I let a auto glass place do it?

    Color blind! Burgundy or Maroon?

    Sent the Carmine Red back and ordered the maple/maroon from the truck shop. Got my maroon dash pad from the truck shop yesterday so things should start moving along.
