Rear end shake upon acceleration
I have 79 gmc heavy half .I was driving it today and I noticed a squealing noise and soon after felt a slight grinding noise coming from the back end .It gets worse on eccelleration .when I let off the throttle it becomes smoother and the noise stops . is this 79 rare? should i restore or restor-mod?
i recently was givin my grandfathers 79 gmc heavy half. He worked for the county dept and special ordered this truck. it has the f44 frame and woodin inlays in the box which i was told could be rare. i was going to resto-mod the truck but if its vauluble i think iwould rather restore it back to...- Nathanf44HH
