would I be able to just buy a longer cable to reroute it through the fender? I want to hide the cable- mikejones58

External hood release
I have the cable hood release on my 84 and I'm wanting to get rid of the cable to switch to an external release. Any ideas if the 73-80 release will work or any other tips.- mikejones58
