How to change brakes on a 1/2 ton 4x4.
jack-up front and put on stands,turn front tires and wheels by hand. see if you can hear the noise. (1) if you do, try to lock and unlock diff. (2)if it you do, move by hand, the front drive shaft, and see if noise goes away. if it does something is wrong in hub assembly. mine is a 88/89 gmc... -

Junk yard parts to pick
hi all; anybody know why a 88-89 gmc v1500 sub is different than c k r series ? in question is the return and feed fuel lines (my return line ) sprung leak about middle of flex hose. nobody sells new part. 31x10.5R15 vs. P215 75R15
HI 87jimmy; I know this is a lot late but maybe I can help someone else. many 14in and 15in tires are hard to find. I have a 89 GMC 1500 4x4 suburban, couldn't find tires I could afford, so I found that some Toyota wheels will fit(16in) and Summit sells wheels that fit great. 6 hole, 16in...- mikeh4848
