    I agree, leave the part time kit and the lockouts in it, they make the truck drive a bunch better by keeping the front axle unlocked until you want or need it. Mark

    Did any of those trucks come with anything other than a 400 turbo? In the 3/4 ton trucks the 700r4 and 208 combo was very popular and was wondering if they ever did that in the military version? Mark

    Ive bought another K30 and when I was looking at it I noticed it has a np208 in it? I have never seen one that didn't have a 205 i it, it looks factory to me. The truck is a 6.2 diesel, 400 turbo, 208, Dana 60, 14 bolt, it appears to be an exmilitaty truck if that matters. Just going to use it...

    I agree, I've seen many 750 to 1000hp big block pulling trucks with a 205 in them and they are fairly trouble free. I've never hurt one and I have been mean to a few of them. Mark

    Don't worry about the 205 and future repairs, if you change the fluid in it and it looks ok then run it and don't look back. It was the best case GM ever put in a truck and they a virtually trouble free. Mark
