Yes you're right, the main lines are still avail but like you said #16 would have to be custom made. What do you want for everything, aside from the main lines
Yes, that's I think, a resistor. It has four, 4 inch prongs with springs at the bottom of them that drops down into the evap housing. That's the normal thing I've seen that goes into the housing but mine, has no hole to drop one down in it. But it's got no wiring for anything else either...
Yes, the pre firewall stuff is there, the vents, the ac controller, just nothing coming out of the firewall for the to the evaporator nor to the compressor that once was there. It's odd. The housing on the evaporator also has no wired heatsink type controller that goes down into the evaporator...
I'm having a tough time finding photo's of an Air Conditioning wiring harness on a 85 K20 truck. My 85 Silverado came with Factory Air, but the previous owner stripped all the engine bay Firewall to A/C wiring out. I have no idea why someone would do this. One would think it's not a factory...
I'm afraid to buy a third transducer at $100 and have the same result. I guess if one cable turns freely but not the other as freely, seems like that could cause the transducer to burn up. Just a guess. I think I may just buy new upper and lower speedo cables to rule them out. Just seems odd.
Yes, that's exactly what I thought as well but I can see clearly behind it that it's never been cut or filled. It's an OEM dash with nothing there. It's weird.
The 73-80 switch doesn't have a bezel around the switch (see above switches) like the 80 and newer ones did. If you look at the...
Perhaps that's it but as you can see, there is a factory connector for the switch. I suppose someone could have added the Aux tank, and all the wiring and valve but seems unlikely. I just don't know.
Thanks for that, I think you may be right. The speedometer worked fine for around 30-45 minutes but then it starts getting erratic and then it fails. When it does, you can hear noise from the transducer which led me to believe I just simply bought a poor remanufactured transducer. So I bought...
Yeah, that's the same location as my 81 and 85 but there's no such hole in the dash in my 78. I thought maybe someone filled it in but that's not the case, it's factory. The 5 prong connector to the left is factory as well. Baffling.
