Help me decide between 17/18 or 20" wheels

20x10 with 35x12.5R20 tires, 4" all spring lift, my truck is strictly on road, maybe in 4wd everyonce in a while. If I was doing heavy offroading Id of went with a 17" max.

Well, as always plans change, build change, ideas and intentions for trucks change...... so to has the little blue truck. I have abandoned my 4.8 LS6 plans, buddy of mine wanted the 4.8 in a bad way to throw a bunch of turbos at, so sold it..... Now I am building my LS1, dropped it and a set of...

    Building Gauge Cluster

Holley EFI gauges, but these read a dedicated CAN signal from my terminator EFI set up. Holley makes them stand alone as well, I put them In the bezel and left the shell of the original cluster behind to keep all of my factory signal and indicators.

new engine does not want to run right

on my last K5 I owned, a 1988, it did something similar, and it was my fault, I tried to set the timing like any old small block but didn't realize it doesn't work that way. Then once I actually figured this out the ECU was bad also.

Scores from DIY Parts Yards, Pull A Part, U Pull It etc

That's a good deal, had two trucks with that seat set up in them, both were 98 model Z71s. Gonna be honest never cared for those, never seemed like I could get them adjust right to me. Maybe it was the trucks, maybe it was me, hell idk lol. I preferred the older seat set up, I guess that...

    350 Vortec headers

Yes those are the correct headers, I have ran those on both 062 casting vortec heads and a set of 882 heads, there were not fitment differences what so ever. I am currently running the 2452-1HKR on my truck, which are the ceramic coated version. I suggest getting the ceramic coated if you want...

    Check out this sweet K5

The worst is the people who do not understand how a turning lane works. No signal into lane, slams on brakes then merges into turning lane.... that's not right!!!!! Tis meant to merge not to impede the flow of traffic!!!! you are doing it wrong!!!

    350 Vortec headers

vortec heads are no different than standard heads when it comes to header selection, the only difference in the two would be intake bolt holes and valve cover bolt holes. Standard Gm heads will have 6 bolt holes for the intake at an angle. Vortec will only have 4, two at the front and two at...

    Check out this sweet K5

That thing is so perfect, I have a serious weak spot for K5s. I've owned 5 different ones, but ever one older than 85. I really want a round eye K5, 76 down with a full top, but those things are either made of pure gold or 100% pure rust.

2001 silverado project. well, its gonna be a LS1 now, 500hp N/A dreams

Really looked at it close yesterday, I knew it needed rocker panels already. Those aren't an issue, takes a few hours for both side tops, but I didn't know it needs floor pans too. Pulled back the vinyl floor covers and they had pop riveted galvanized steel to cover the holes. So.... floor...
