Back when I dropped mine, it made a lean that I barely noticed at stock height look pretty terrible. I swapped rear leafs side to side and I was good to go. Couldn't beat the cost either.
I used McGaughy's 2.5" drop spindles on my 85 GMC when I dropped it a year and a half ago. I drive it every day and they have held up great. I would recommend them to anyone looking.
She's always been ok with it anyway. She was pretty happy when I decided to sell the other two cars and score this truck.

Looks like I registered here in October of 2010 but I never posted or made an intro thread. I had a 78 stepside 2wd in 05 and commuted 35 miles one way with it until 09, when gas just started sucking too much for my long commute. So I sold it. It was pretty run down anyway.
