It is tapered! Thought I would add some pictures in case they can help anyone else down the road. I do need to get another lock washer, seems one was missing. Tags Shimmy shock, drag link, steering stabilizer -

Hi Goldie Driver, did you notice if the drag link is tapered to accept the tapered bolt? I am trying to install a new shimmy shock on my truck but the hardware is different
