A little more info. It has a 2 groove pulley 6.5inch without a keyway or center mounting nut. I ordered a new replacement which shows to be correct part from all my research. It is a dorman 300-121 which is a 5 3/4" pulley. The paperwork with it says it is the proper replacement even...
How would i tell if it is the shaft or the pulley wobbling?
The entire power steering pump assembly is original to the truck but has been removed at least a couple times, but the pulley has never been removed from the shaft as far as i know. There does not seem to be a leak.

no magic. i didn’t tell you it took 4 times painting them. Waiting two weeks before putting them on. Then they still weren’t fully cured and then yesterday this happened from the tonneau cover. Stripped them all the way down, now using an adhesion promoter, and repainting again today.
Painted my mirror covers and some stake pocket covers from Truxedo. Spray can basecoat from AutomotiveTouchup.com, and SprayMax 2K clear from Amazon. Also cleaned up and clear coated my unobtainium 1983 GMC grill.
