Oil Pressure Goes to Zero!
i had a 1993 big blazer with over 200,000 miles on it.... so same exact motor as our squares. same issue. it would drop to 0 when the engine was hot. i installed a whole new oil pump and it didnt fix it. i was so pissed. what fixed it was adding a bottle of lucas.... after that; running...- heavychevystuff

front add-a-leafs (pic request)
hello im probably gonna buy front add-a-leaf springs for my burb for budget reasons. and because it bugs me that the stock springs are like..... bent UP... not down... may add lift blocks for the back. (pic is current/stock) who else has done this in the front? u like it? can you please post...- heavychevystuff

high speed window motors?
ok cool thanks =) the power lock button suddenly broke today too. so i may just fix as i go, or redo everything at once. we shall see how many times i want to removed the damn door panel lol i love electrical work cause it follows LAWS of science its just such a pain to get at these parts...- heavychevystuff

high speed window motors?
Hi all, is there such a thing as "high speed" motors for our windows? i know C4C killed a ton of cool niche parts makers. but can anyone recommend FAST motors for these trucks? post a link thanks!- heavychevystuff

that sounds the most plausible!! i just checked the solenoid again and the gear got stuck in the flywheel teeth! (i just touched the batter cable to the solenoid contact) it wouldn't suck back without help.... so yeah it must be a alignment issue with that stupid cone... or shimmed on one side...- heavychevystuff

ok cool thanks ill check the distributor. its a fancy ACCEL high power one. so i figured its fine..... it starts runs and drives great. no pinging or hesitation. but yeah.... these starters now suck....- heavychevystuff

hi all i am really frustrated with a starting issue 1979 454 automatic new battery new cables new starter last starter was not shimmed correctly and the whole housing cracked. this new starter is shimmed so the teeth engage much shallower now. but it still struggles to turn over!!! and...- heavychevystuff
