It’s possible.. especially with it being a reman.. but what I don’t get is why it only seems to do it when the truck is warmed up.. unless it’s just by chance that it’s never done it when the truck has been sitting- Green79k10

Hey guys.. I have a 79 k10 with a 350.. I’ve owned her for about a year and a half.. when I first bought her I replaced the carb and had a buddy of mine adjust the timing.. and she ran fine.. no problems starting up or anything.. about 6 months ago my starter went out.. so I replaced it.. truck...- Green79k10

Bumper guards
Hey guys.. I am looking to get a pair of bumper guards for my 79.. and all I can find on any aftermarket site is 81-87.. and i know I’ve seen the bumper guards on 73-80’s before.. does anyone know if the 81-87 will fit my 79? Or do guys put on the 81-87 bumper on the 73-80 and that’s how the fit?- Green79k10

So I’m a novice when it comes to these square bodies.. I was wondering if anyone could list all the different trans. that came in the 73-87 time frame? Rear end question
I was curious if anyone could give me some info on the numbers stamped on my rear end.. mainly curious if you can tell the gear ratio from it.. it’s a corporate 12-bolt on a 79 k10.. I’ve researched the heritage site.. and I can’t find any matches- Green79k10
