So I’m a novice when it comes to these square bodies.. I was wondering if anyone could list all the different trans. that came in the 73-87 time frame? I’ve tried looking it up and I can’t really find a solid list.. also maybe which motors they typically went with? Or differences in 2wd and 4wd.. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.. just trying to learn more about the trucks..

    This, and the TH375. A 400 case with a 350 output shaft.

Also some pickups had the NP833/440 4 speed OD side loader manual. Those are fairly rare though.

Theres also the 82-86 700r4s, which arent very diserable, and then the 87 or 88-94ish 700r4s which are far more diserable.

AFAIK, all TH350s were TH350Cs (lockup variant) from 1980 to whenever they exhausted their supply of transmissions sometime in 1986.
