Since this question is here, my C10 lower control arms are also toast. I think my brother in law crashed into something as the tabs on the arms where the shafts go are badly bent. In my case, I really do think that I need new arms. Everything is rusted and buggered on mine.

I think I read somewhere that big block and small block mounts are a little different, but they are still more or less interchangeable, as was said above - can anybody clear up what the differences actually are?
I'm pretty sure the tubes are just pressed into the differential housing on mine... Wondering if your diff was modified, maybe the weld was trying to stop a leak in the first place.
Can you pinpoint the spot where the leak is? How bad is the leak anyway?
