dent pulling

I was using a A-1 hot glue puller on some hail dents on a 76. When I just get it flat it pulls a circle out of the paint. It has been repainted once and it appears the metal is rusty underneath. The paint job sucks anyhow so should I just keep going?

Does anyone have any interior pictures of the NSS1 Knit vinyl option in a 1976 c-10. I just bought this truck and it doesnt appear to have the original seat in it. I havent decided how far Im going to go on the restoration yet but just looking to see what Im up against
