Test fitting the interior before sound deadening, carpet and dash/gauges. This is probably where I'm stalled at as far as interior until I address more pressing mechanical issues.....which are on deck -

I'm about to go through the same thing. I have a 77' K20. I was looking at that Edelbrock carb too but I'm really thinking about going with the MSD fuel injection instead.- evlblkrfl

New member/new project
New member here. I picked up a super straight 77 K20. 350 sm465 with a dana44 and 14 bolt ff. Just put a Tuff Country 4" lift in. Did a lot of scraping,degreasing and painting while i was at it.Next up is all new U- joints, rebuild driveshafts,steering and rear brakes. Full new interior/sound...- evlblkrfl
