    Trucks with factory Blue

I really like that Hawaiian blue as well. Very classic color combination.

    Trucks with factory Blue

BOOM! I think that's one of them! Assuming that we're interpreting the glovebox tag correctly, which my guess is as good as yours. Color Code 23 in 83-84-85 (estimated by the grille) is WA7154, Med Blue. I agree that it looks great on the truck.

Quick color search seems to show '79, color code 26, Dark Blue WA5788. I'm surprised, that color doesn't look "dark" on the truck. Thanks for posting up the glovebox label.

    Trucks with factory Blue

I'd like to know what it is. It looks darker than I'm hoping, but it'd be great to positively identify it just the same. Thanks

Really curious what the center color is on this truck. Is it listed in the glove box? Thank you

Keep 'em coming. Here's some pics of "Joseph". Named for his coat of many colors of course. The back door is red on the passenger side. The interior is blue, with grey door panels. It's got a VE Pump 12 Valve/NV4500/NP205/KP60/Corp 14 bolt. All the good stuff. Powertrain is bone stock...

    Trucks with factory Blue

Thanks for the info guys, keep it coming. We've got some good light and dark, anybody have a Medium blue? That French Blue 'Burb is pretty clean. I was curious about the '72 Colors as well, I really like the non-metallic look. I was originally planning on doing Anvil Gray (Newish Jeep...

    Trucks with factory Blue

Hi Gents, Long time lurker, not much posted as of yet. But I'm looking at painting my truck (I'll post up a build thread one of these days). It's a junkyard special (I suspect the original builder owned a wrecking yard). Just about every panel is from a different vehicle (but they're...

    Oil pressure gauge wire

Great, thank you for the replies. The gauge apparently functions exactly the opposite of what I had assumed. I'll try grounding out the the tan wire tomorrow. Thanks again. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Oil pressure gauge wire

So the plot thickens. I took the cluster out to chase the oil pressure wire because nothing was working. I found the little tan wire in the engine bay and at the cluster plug. It doesn't read grounded, and all three black grounds at the cluster read as such, and the 3 red wires read 12v. The...

    Oil pressure gauge wire

I was suspicious about a tan wire running through the firewall bulkhead connector that is labeled "electric choke" in the engine bay. I'm not really a carb guy, but I didn't think there was anything in the cab that would run to an electric choke... Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Oil pressure gauge wire

I have a 1986 K30 crew cab, factory 454 truck, now has a Cummins. All of the gauges currently work except the oil pressure. The PO plumbed in a mechanical oil pressure gauge, and that tiny capillary line leaks at the ferrule. I tried to just straighten it out but it still leaks a little bit. I'd...

Factory tach dash with Cummins pickup

Picked up a 1986 K30 Silverado crew cab with a 12V VE pump Cummins for a song. The PO did a pretty decent job getting everything hooked up. A/C blows cold, all power windows work, and the motor has the factory tach pickup on the harmonic balancer. I have a factory v8 tach dash that I'd like to...
