Hey all! I am a long time gearhead, first time 4x4 square body owner.
I was born in 1971, and have been wrenching in some form since 1985. I spent about 15 years of my adult life as a front end technician. Brakes, suspension, alignment and tires. I know my way around a shop and vehicles. Due to always working in shops, I had access to shop manuals and other techs/mechanics that knew more than I did. Now that I don't have access to that anymore, I rely on good folks like you on the forums. I don't claim to know it all and if I ask a stupid question or one that has already been asked, please forgive me.
This is my first 4x4 square body, but not my first 4x4 or my first square body. I had a 77 C10 (straight 6/ 3 on the tree), and a 1989 Jeep Cherokee(XJ).
My current truck is a 1976 Chevy K20 long bed. 350, TH350 with NP 203.
Dana 44 front axle. GM corporate 14 bolt rear.
