keith there are 2 common reasons harmonic balancers need replacing > one is the oil seal will wear a grove and then you get a oil leak . this is why mine needs to be replaced"" #2 reason is the rubber that holds the balancer together will start to deteriorat- dusty1964

harmonic balancer
my harmonic balancer needs to be replaced . i went to pull one off a used engine and it is a couple of inches smaller diameter can i use it in place of the 8.5 inch one. thanks- dusty1964

turbo charging ?
has any one installed a turbo on there 350? . i do not want hot rod , 3 or 4 pounds of boost is the most i think it could handle. any tips or suggestions would be helpfull and what size of turbo you used ? my truck is a 1977 k20 . thank you- dusty1964
