I had the same idea as you at one point but it never got far after I noticed the boxes mounted on opposite sides... Might be time to do some research Edit: They only mount different, don't they? Or are the boxes actually mirrored? I will have to check this out tomorrow. I have a Gbody box...- dphipps

Truck steering boxes mount to the outside of the frame, where the car box mounts to the inside. Maybe the guts could be swapped?- dphipps

please help! C10 Lower Control Arms
I just disassembled a set that were seized on, took me roughly 2 hours and I was done both arms. I used a cheap air hammer and a bit of swearing. It really wasn't that bad. I pressed them back in with a 'press' I made with a bottle jack and some scrap tubing. I have a couple pictures if you're...- dphipps
