Stolen truck found after 30 years

Mine was an 85 350 from the OR but had CA emissions - I kept alot of it (pipes and all) so if there is anything particular you need and I still have it, its yours for the asking-shipping.

Stolen truck found after 30 years

I had an 86 SB in 89 and do remember seeing aftermarket power sliders available. Sounded cool, but the clip is by my right ear. If I needed it to be powered, I would have bigger issues to tend to. Maybe Steven Hawkins would need it but then why would he be driving a SB anyways?

    Carpet

They have free samples (which I got a few) - its a really high quality product for a decent price. https://www.factoryinteriors.com/wn...rolet&menuModel=K20&menuCategory=#modalGal-16

What have you done to your square lately??

Dont look like much but I found a great body shop that fixed my roof skin. I randomly found this place - stopped in and his name sounded familiar. Asked him if he knew a friend of mine (died in a house fire not far from this shop a couple years ago) and he did - he was the one my friend always...

    Drip edge Replacements

I dont mind the drip edge - everything else is blacked out so the accent looks good to me. I hear guys with new trucks btching about not having them when its raining and they open the door. lol I got new mounting brackets coming - took the original chrome, and leaving them mounted to the old...

    Drip edge Replacements

I still have holes up the b-pillars. Didnt realize how rough these were til I lined them up. My guess is that chrome strip (new) is a quarter of a pop can thick.

    Drip edge Replacements

Are all drip edge's created equal? I had my roof skin replaced so need to drill new holes (5 of 7) for the drip edge. In getting things laid out, it seems my drip edge is tweaked enough I want to replace it. Do the holes on the aftermarket pieces line up with the originals? Who has the best...

cargo light/ 3rd brake light install

Here they is. Thought about this myself but I just spent 2 yrs getting my roof skin fixed and after hitting my head 27 times (a few were accidents) am preparing to drill 15 holes in it for cab lights. That alone has me hesitant. The last pic is the inside dome light.

    Bolt Sizes

Thanks Lego! I'm going to run a tap through the bosses to clean and straighten the threads - the bolt threads (seat belts) are a mess so needed to know for a fact what they are supposed to be. You da man - thanks again :hat:

    Bolt Sizes

I think I've got most figured out - only oddballs now are the seat belt bolts. I actually have all my originals but they dont fit correctly. PO cobbled about everything else so who knows. I do know that the shoulder points are different (metric) and iirc the lap bolts are SAE (in all cars). Crazy.

    Bolt Sizes

1985 std cab. Anyone know where one could find the size (size and thread pitch) for cabin bolts? I need them for the dash to A-pillars, and then the bench and seat belts. Some are SAE - some are metric. I can try to fit old bolts but want to know the correct size so I can run a tap through it...

How much paint do I need?

I would think thats a whole lot more $ than spraying it single stage. I'm doing base-clear.....was told 1.5 gal (3 gallons mixed)....and I'm hoping thats enough. Cheapest way I could think would be a gallon of truck and tractor enamel and rollering it on. Seriously.

    Paint on Emblems - removal

I had something similar to this awhile ago - used acetone and a Q-tip to swab it with. Took awhile but all came off. This stuff works good too - I get it at the local hardware...
