I vote rebuild the OE column. Regarding China parts I have two stories about my frame off resto of 76 GMC 4x4 short bed. We ordered new brake proportional valve and installed it. First one leaked second one locked up rear brakes after 200 miles. Both came from China because well.. no other...
You can never go wrong with the old school stock Chevy rally wheels. I’m talking about the slotted gray ones with the chrome lip ring and plastic center cap. If you go the other way, I would definitely go white.
Cab bushings are all new. This was pretty much a total frame off restoration although some older parts were reused, such as the clutch and brake pedal box and linkage.

I paid $600 to have a custom made double jointed DS made. Which is the correct way to get the angles correct and eliminate DS vibrations on a lifted truck.
Thanks guys. I found two black aluminum I like and should work. Apparently they chrome the inside mating surface is not always chromed evenly thus causing leakage. Or some of chrome chips off also causing leakage. From what I have learned the chrome ones often leak.
Hello all. New member as of today. Just finished frame off 1976 K10 resto. Looking for recommendation on diff covers for Dana44 10 bolt front and G.M. corp. 12 bolt rear. The cheap chrome ones leak no matter what we do to seal them. I would prefer GM NOS but cant find any. I want good high...
