    The Big 10 Revival

Gonna live this. Hell, I'd even keep the add-ons.

Show off your non-square project cars.

Pretty sure I saw this in Rick's back yard as I drove by. . . . I'd build one, so we could get the yard done in under 25 seconds, but I'm not sure where I'd park my attempt, which would, probably, look more like a totaled Yugo.

Where did all the 4x4s go?

and a lot of them are still at the gas station waiting for their loans [for a fill up] to process.

What new tools have you got lately?

This counts (shop comfort), right? Am in the process of getting the final details done on an install of a 24k BTU split for the shop. The shop is 1,800 square feet. I was running a window unit, which was 12k BTU's. The old window unit went south recently, about 15 years in. it, generally...

I bought the same wheel lift hickeydo and am pretty impressed with it. It, certainly, is a lot easier to get over to the truck than the over-engine creeper, but which I like too.

Come on, how much did you have to give?

A question for the wheel/tire gurus

snort - way cool. I'm from the "yeah, the calcium [meant CHLORIDE, but said carbide (a whole new meaning to blowing your tires up)] has rusted half the rim away, throw a new tube in it" era.

    Coolant recovery system not working

They do wear out, but we tend to run them for 40 years. . . . A bad cap can make a good system broke and diminish efficiency, just as a thermostat can. Easy, cheap stuff first.

Looking For Glass Etch Opinions and Ideas For My Truck Windows

I etched all the windows on my old 69 step side. It's been gone for decades. Now I have a new blank canvas, which looks rather much like a 78 step side. It was a bit of work, but as people pointed out, it looked nice and stood the truck out around every other truck around it. The only thing I...

    deleting parking brake lever

Many of us have had to resort to an e-brake when life went south. THEN there is that the master cylinder was shot on my 67 square back, back around 73 or 74. I used the e-brake to activate the rear brakes and the peddle activated the front disks. It made for an amazing snow-ice car. I could...

    deleting parking brake lever

YES First, the brakes must be adjusted before you adjust the e-brake. Second, if the ebrake is on or too tight, you will get a false setting on the brake adjustment.

    Howdy from WA

It ain't the Wenatchee [or East Wenatchee] we grew up with. I live an hour plus away now (Mattawa - Desert Aire), but my brother is still off Sunset, near Bob Philes. . . . He has a few late sixties and a few seventies rigs. Just dropped off a new key and tumbler for my brother to give his...
