    Looking for wiper arm options for 1982 K10

    These did not work for my '79 Sierra Classic. They are too constrained under the hood, do not lift for cleaning and do not apply sufficient down-pressure such that the blades simply do not wipe. Time for plan C or give up on hooked arms? Does anybody else have a suggestion?

    I saw this and got some 42631s and paired them with Trico 25-180 (18") but the wiper arms don't have enough oomph to hold the blade flat.

    Maybe the lift bed wasn't worth the investment. The crated turnkey high-output 350 was nice but I had to add the Holley Sniper EFI. Just recently I swapped in a 750R4 and now it's 2200 rpm at 75. Perfect interior. Doesking white leather bench. Flawless dash. This is a '79 Sierra Classic...

    So there's no way that the unsynchronized 205 with auto-hubs kajanked the differential? (I wonder what did it)

    It is entirely likely that the '89 with the 350/205 does not have a synchronizer. For me, this is not a blame game. But I don't ant to repair the diff and repeat the breakdown. Thanks!

    I believe the 205 is always spinning, while the 208 is not. No?

    The '79 has manual hubs and you're right, the 208 doesn't care. But the '89 now with the 205 has auto-hubs, and that's the rig that lost a tooth.

    That sounds right. Yes, we did need to adapt the NP208 to fit with the cross member. The 205 went into the '89.
