There isn't an opening into the booster unless the diaphragm is busted. If it did leak out the back of the master it will be stuck back...

Its a load proportioning valve. It limits the amount of braking action on the rear brakes when unloaded so that they don't lock up...

The dashes are spot welded to and are one layer of metal at the windshield flange. To remove the dash the spot welds must be drilled/cut.
