    Dimmer Switch

    I found the problem, I was correct, it was way out of adjustment. Whoever must have gotten it in and pulled the retainer clip and left it like that and never adjusted it against the rod.

    Fuel Valve Replaced

    I did on mine because the nipples on the new reproduction valve are smaller than an oem.

    Fuel Valve Replaced

    I did the same thing as you, replaced 1 tank the sending unit, valve and switch. Now usually around 35 to 40 mph once the truck is warmed up, I get a hesitation. I was figuring it was the accelerator pump in the Quadrajet, but being you describe the same symptoms, I don't know.

    My wife and I went this year, and had a lot of fun. We plan on going again next year. Just a couple things I will do different.

    Dual fuel tanks and valves

    I have an 84 GMC C1500 with dual tanks. My switching valve is on the passenger side near the fuel tank. Follow the fuel lines coming out of each tank and it should lead you to the valve. Mine has a heat/ dust shield covering it.

    Power Tour

    It was our first PT also. Did 2837 miles round trip, averaged 17 MPG. It was hot, but we had a great time.

    I just got one from Quadrajet Power. I emailed them the numbers on the Carb and they sent back the part numbers that fit my carb. Fast shipping when I ordered.

    What Engine Do I Have

    I didn't look, but I'm assuming they are the stock heads. I'm trying to figure out what fuel pump to buy for it as a spare for Power Tour. I'm assuming that in 94 it came with an electric pump. It has a manual on it now. I have been out of the Square body game for a long time.

    I just changed my search wording on the internet, and found a list from LMC Trucks. They list "FSC" as a 1994 350(5.7L) so I guess I'm all set.
