Rear Axles, What Changed in 1977 ?
Did you ever put these spacers on? I'm looking at the aluminum ones in 1.5 inches. I have an R10, long bed.- chris87

Picking a color
What did you end up doing? I just picked up this 87 r10 last November. I'm taking it to a paint shop tomorrow for some repaint ideas. Probably going to keep the same colors with maybe more metallic in the brown and not sure about the tan. -
Need a turn signal socket
Thats kind of you. I'm gonna try to repair the one I have. Its actually in good condition, but the ground tab broke off. I'm thinking to get the advance auto socket and use the ground wire assembly. If it doesnt work I may ask for your help. Thanks.- chris87

Need a turn signal socket
I need a front turn signal socket for my 87 chevy. I bought one at advance auto but it would not lock into place. The one I have is three wires and white plastic. I checked two major truck web sites and couldnt find it. Should I just go to parts geek? Thanks.- chris87

Hi Thanks for responding. Yes, 15 inch. The tires that came with the truck are 235/75/R15. They have the full hub caps. The guy also threw in a set of 15X 9 rally wheels, I bought new trim rings, center caps, and lugs and was all set to put general grabbers 31.8 in on. but the more I look around...- chris87

Hey, just bought an 87 r10, hopefully I will find some answers here and maybe even help out.
This truck is all original. The only thing I want to update or change for now is the ride height. Since it needs new shocks and an alignment, I want to get it to have the height of an R20 or 4x4. Maybe it just needs a front level kit? I guess I need to know what tires would be correct too. Thanks.- chris87
