marks86 My main purpose or use of the truck would be to use as a casual summer driver so I really don't need a 400 and 205 case. I have them but seeing how it won't be driven in the winter and only off road would be to haul a trailer and another truck to a truck pull.- chevytrucknut05

gpmorgan thanks for the imput. I'm concerned about the wiring for the trans and case also. Not sure if earlier 700r4 and 208 cases were mechanical? what years did they go electrical to where I may need a computer to run them?- chevytrucknut05

New to this as of today. have no idea what I'm doing on here if if this will work. I'm building a 1987 4x4 crew cab from the frame up. The body shop gutted the cab and threw away my parts.
