    ok. to rephrase my question. to drop the rear 2 inches, do I use a drop shackle only, or do I also need to change the front leaf spring hanger too?

    my old truck with a properly tuned carb started fine in 90F or below 0. As long as the choke works fine it shouldn't need adjustment.

    to clarify I want to lower just the rear 2 inches. I measured from the top edge of the wheel well to the top of the tire. not too concerned with where the wheel is in the wheel well front to back
