Update guys. I was only getting 6vdc to my compressor. Had two bad grounds to fix. I am now getting 12.9 volts to the compressor and have been ice cold for almost two weeks now.
The entire system was new. New evaporator core new condenser new compressor and new accumulator new orifice tube. Lines flushed with ac cleaner solvent and blown out with dried and filtered air. I don’t remember exactly what the low pressure was but everything was in spec
i charged it with 28 ounces of ac pro Freon. No additives. 10 ounces of pag 150 with the ac on and running. I was getting 40 degree temps idling and cruising around town. I got on the freeway and the clutch burns up.
Three brand new compressors with all new parts. Hoses flushed with ac flush and blown out with dry compressed air each time. On each compressor the paint was burned off the clutch of the compressor each time. It was a crusty white looking color.
