    Front driver shackle was twisted and after jacking it up on the body mount the frame twists and it flexes the shackle back to almost normal. Previous owner welded a plate on the top frame rail behind the shock mount so this is already tricky. Seems the frame is bent and it twists/flexes...

    It has cables. 89 V2500. I will adjust the bumper as low as it can go and see if it helps. It looks like the one bolt on the truck that holds the cable is bent a little. Is that fixable? Does anyone know about what the correct angle should be? Mine is opened well past 90 degrees, curious if...

    The gate is off now, I welded in some new metal on the bottom. The tailgate goes so low it sits on the bumper and I am trying to correct it before i put it back on so the new paint wont get messed up.

    Wow that is some great info! So it seems like its in the shifter. I have been driving the truck for years and just the other day when I was in 4 it came on and it was so awesome. Now I can get the flicker when moving the shifter around, getting a good light response when going between 4 hi and 4 lo.
