Yes sir it is a 77 4wd with the sm465 but I’ve ran a test light everywhere underneath the dash and to the fuse block my cab and under the dash every single orange and white is hot no matter what it is but none of my fuses have actually blown besides be hazard light but i replaced it and haven’t...
Alright so I’m having plenty of wiring issues with my k10 and just can’t seem to figure them out my horn comes on with my high and low fan switch and all my wires going to my courtesy light, dome light, and cargo light but it all ***** off completely if I take a light bulb out any one of those...
I was unaware the q-jets had actual idle screws I think it could possibly be nasty fuel that clogged it since she was running a little low on fuel about a quarter tank when I stopped at the gas station put some fuel in her and she’s been running like ass ever since
Yeah I’ve dealt with the pcv valve flying off from backfire and it did run rough for a day after I figured that one out but it kinda happened out of nowhere I was driving fine stopped at the gas station since ole truck was about to run on E and has ran god awful ever since…drained the tank and...

hey yall so I’ve got this 77 k10 it’s my first truck it’s a 350 with a sm465 she’s been running very rough as of like a week ago I can’t find any vacuum leaks or anything. I just replaced the fuel pump about 300 miles ago and she starts up every time no problem but she can’t idle and is even...
https://share.icloud.com/photos/031XFSsXtMsHB-DiJxHsEkkig Here is a video of the noise if it doesnt work let me know I have the valve covers and spark plugs removed at the moment to see if it was a valve noise
Yeah popped off the rear main cap it was completely smooth no copper showing or scratches took out the seal slid the new one in torqued her back down to spec turned her over by hand a few times it turned over fine no noise
ok so starting from the base i drained the oil, took out all the bolts...
yeah I did I took off the main bearing put in the new main seal torqued em to 70 ftlbs my main bearing did have a few scratches but overall no copper was showing
I only removed the oil pan cleaned the mating surfaces and that was it nothing else was taken off or removed oil pick up is completely clean too prefilled the oil filter also so there should’ve been very little to no air in the system
….i am aware it could be the crank bearing or if bolts aren’t tightened all the way it can’t create vacuum for oil pressure but I’m at a loss I’ve gotten every mechanic in the shop I work at to look at her and can’t find where the noise is coming from top or bottom end since it’s so damn loud
