    Yeah popped off the rear main cap it was completely smooth no copper showing or scratches took out the seal slid the new one in torqued her back down to spec turned her over by hand a few times it turned over fine no noise ok so starting from the base i drained the oil,took out all the bolts...

    yeah I did I took off the main bearing put in the new main seal torqued em to 70 ftlbs my main bearing did have a few scratches but overall no copper was showing

    I only removed the oil pan cleaned the mating surfaces and that was it nothing else was taken off or removed oil pick up is completely clean too prefilled the oil filter also so there should’ve been very little to no air in the system

    ….i am aware it could be the crank bearing or if bolts aren’t tightened all the way it can’t create vacuum for oil pressure but I’m at a loss I’ve gotten every mechanic in the shop I work at to look at her and can’t find where the noise is coming from top or bottom end since it’s so damn loud
