Yeah I believe the lower mounts are for the I6, IIRC the pan will hit on a V8 in the lower holes -
Big block, cant tell exactly but it appears to be the upper holes

Did you ever fix your brake problem? Set your big block in,just like the small block came out,unless you are getting big block mounts...
