Well, it's time to take my leave as an active participant here. I've bought a new truck, and will be selling Working Girl. I've just gotten to the age where I want (and need) the comfort and conveniences of a modern vehicle. I bought a 2017 Sierra 1500 Denali CCSB with the 6.2l.

As I take my leave, I thought I would past an index to the most informative posts I've written on various fora. I thought to put it in this sub-forum, as this is where I hung out the most, and the really killer posts are engine posts.

Here's a list of all my modifications on Working Girl over the past seven years:

GM 10067353 350cid crate engine
Comp Cams 12-300-4 marine/RV camshaft
Edelbrock 1406 carburetor
Edelbrock 2601 Air-Gap Performer intake manifold
Hooker 2453 headers and dual exhaust straight out the back through Flowmaster 40s
Thermac air cleaner with cold-air induction
Taylor wires and Proform valve cover hold downs with wire clips
94-amp 12SI alternator
Flex-o-lite electric fan and controller
Front bumper with built-in fog lamps
Dual 16-gallon tanks
Aries step bars
Dual fuel gauges
Tachometer
Semi-custom heated leather bucket seats with center console/jump seat
Floor-mounted wiper mist button
JVC Arsenal KD-AHD69 CD Receiver
Highliner headliner with four Kicker DS400 speakers
Lanzar VCTBS8 active subwoofer
Three 12 VDC accessory sockets under the dash
Tough Country EZ-Ride Springs and Shocks, +2" front, +3" rear
Rhino Liner bedliner

Here's a set of pointers to articles I've posted on how to do all of the above:

I know this is a square body forum, and it's nice to keep it dedicated to that, but I don't think the fact that you got a new GM truck means you should go. I mean, I totally get you if there are personal things going on or whatever, and I'd feel bad if there was, and I'm missing the hint. What I'm getting at is I think you've been an invaluable part of this forum, and you should still hang out here as long as you want.

Well **** !!! Congrats on the new ride. You're gonna love it. We have plenty of members here that don't have Squares. It's not a requirement to drop in and say hey. I'm sure you're subscribed to a few threads here, even though it appears you put all the good stuff together on other forums instead of here. But you can still at least drop in from time to time.

Well, I know I can hang out here even without a square, but it's helping people out that makes it fun for me, and I don't have the reference vehicle to check stuff on. So I don't know. We'll see.

No name yet. Those things take a while to gel.

Actually, most of the posts were posted on all the forums I was active on at the time each modification occurred. It was sort of grab one when I put the list of links together.

For what it's worth from what I've read of some of your write ups your reference vehicle is in your mind. There is enough square on that new truck to warrant not leaving. I vote sticky a link for future reference. Whether that means anything.

Ole Blue is what my buddy has named my C20. A pretty common name for a vehicle, but this one being NEW, can't be "Ole" in the name.

Since I've heard of vehicles being named, Nelly, which to me sounds like an old horse, and yours is a Denali, You can name it Blue Nali instead of Blue Nelly. Or .....

Rich, before you call it, not sure if you've got all your info in one "bucket" regarding Quadrajet tuning/upgrades n such.

Well Rich, that sucks. Hate to see you go. I think you should drop in from time to time, because you have a lot to share.

I sometimes miss my 2011 F150 Lariat with all the bells and whistles, along with its 18-22 mpg. So I understand your thinking. But I'll bet you'll end up buying another old car or truck to work on. It's in your DNA!
