Hey guys, new to this forum, just picked up an 80 shortbed c10, runs like a dream but a lot of minor mostly electrical issues. Was driving it from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City and thought I'd try the wipers and they came on which is great but they will not shut off. Thought it had to be the switch so I got a new switch and still does the same. Refuses to quit running. Any ideas? I'm waiting on a manual so I'm not certain the terminology but there's a enclosed circuit board between the switch and motor, not sure which is the more likely cause now. That board or the motor. Can't find the board for sale anywhere

Sounds like the park switch isn't parking it. I've had the same problem before except my wipers were sloooow. I cleaned the contacts, made sure everything was plugged in tight, and that fixed it. I'll attach a thread where one of our gurus attached some troubleshooting diagrams, and there's on for when they don't stop. The circuit board thing sounds like the controller for the washer pump if you're talking about what's mounted on the pump.

I think what I'm referring to as a circuit board is the delay module? But I can't find one for sale anywhere. Going to try cleaning all the connections and see what happens.

Before you spend the time and money for a delay module, test the parking switch function as below:
