Like the title says, where's the best balance points to place the jack/lift when removing and/or installing the tcase and transmission seperately?

Thanks!

Drop the tcase then drop the transmission. It will be a massive bitch to do together.

That's the plan. But where's the best balancing spot to place the jack under for the two different parts so they don't fall off and break (...even more)?

I've used a jack under the crossmember and cherry picker through the hump opening and remove/install them both at once. Takes two people though. Separately it's best to have a transmission jack but you can use a ratchet strap to help hold whichever you're working with to the jack.

Support the trans with a jack and a ratchet strap, make sure its really tight ha put the jack in the center of the pan then remove the crossmember, and if you only have one jack support the trans with a jackstand. Then put the jack directly under the bottom portion of the transfer case and unbolt the transfer case, then remove the trans.
