I have a long bed 1986 k10 with dual 16 gallon tanks. I assume I can replace them with 20 gallon tanks and get the proper vent and fill hoses. My question is will there be any issues with placement of fill opening in bedside. I think it's the same as the 16 gallons. Has anyone done this and did it work out okay?

IIRC, the fill opening is the same for both tanks. If you look at your tank it is probably short fitting under the cab. i.e. there is room where the bump is for the cab.

Yes, long beds will accept the 20 gal. tank, short beds will not.
