Take the four screws out from the stainless surround and it should come right out.

Thank you, I have been looking for the other 2 screws. I was told not to mess with the adjusting screws. I unscrewed the only others I saw and the stainless trim that goes around the bulb came 1/2 way out. Are there 2 more hex head screws I'm not seeing? Been fooling with it for an hr and a half and embarrassed at this point.

Does the grey bezel have to come out to replace the headlight?

Yes, then four screws that hold it into the can with a stainless trim ring. The can is held in by the adjusters and some springs.

Thanks again. I apologize for being so darn helpless. I cannot get to the 2 bottom screws that hold the skinless trim due to my inability to remove the bezel. The bottom of the bezel was held by 2 hex heads. I cannot see any other screws at the top of the bezel and it prevents me from getting to the stainless trim. I am gonna walk away from it, blood pressure is high right now, it should be something a 10 yr old should be able to handle. I appreciate you trying to help. Maybe I picked the wrong hobby to be stumped so easily...

I guess my question should have been, "what holds the top of a grey plastic bezel on an 86 passenger side headlight? " the only other screws I could easily remove are what I have been told are the adjusting screws for the headlight....

The other two screw go in from the top. You access them by opening the hood.

yes, that's what he was looking for. The 2 tops screws on the top of the core support. Open up the hood as Gb said. Can't miss them. They'll be torx just like the bottom 2 screws were.
