Did you have any wires running from the starter to the cab or alternator that got snagged? Mines ran right past the water pump. Also check the grounds for the headlights. I think there's one on each side. If all this fails. Get a test light or muiltmeter and check the voltage on each plug with the switch on.

Agree with #Notime

Sounds like a low voltage or bad ground, maybe to high of a resistance in the wires leading up to the plugs, but all else fails test the switch for resistance across contacts maybe pooched. Clean all of the contacts, look for the green monster and replace head lights as a last resort measure(throw parts at it out of frustration!)

Any luck yet?

I know the headlights are run in parallel, but what's the possibility that you pulled the connections loose in the headlight plugs?

Do you have no headlights at all? Only one? Lows or Highs only?

Have you tried putting the old pump back on to see if that fixes the headlights? :hidesbehindsofa:

Ok, I'm outta here now. :Bye:

LOL.
I have to agree that you probably upset the wiring while working on the wp.
the old wiring does not like to be squished or moved around.
