Th400 no 3rd all the sudden

I'll place a magnet and hook up the kickdown. I do have the switch on the gas pedal hooked up so it should work as normal. I appreciate it!

On a side note, I tuned my carb and played with timing with a vac gauge cause I was getting steady 8" at 650rpm idle, now it's steady 12" at 700rpm. Wonder if my modulator wasn't getting enough vacuum and over time led to a problem?

I doubt it cuz the modulator isn't needed until a shift is needed, by that time, you're well off of idle.
