I want to know if I can change temperature control one speed AC by temp control with variable speed?

ok I try
LMC sale a temperature controler with variable speed on AC an I don't know if is ok for my truck because on mine have only one speed on Ac

a/c and MAX a/c maybe?

when you slide the top slider almost all the way to the left it activates the passenger side cab side 'vent/vent pod'.

so maybe the op needs an earlier style than my 85 ?

it has 3 "positions" for a/c.

substitute positions for speeds and that may break the language barrier.

I would think his 74 is the same as mine if he has AC, not for sure. I have 4 speed fan. Lo, Med 1, Med 2, High. I only have 3 speeds now as I have omitted the LO so now it is off. This was done on the resistor.

The first three positions use the resistor pack to change speeds, but the high position uses a relay and direct connection through the 30 amp fuse under the hood.

I assume that yours is like our old 75 in that there was no Max position on the AC switch.

If I remember right, sliding the temp lever to the full left hand setting gave you Max, but also forced the blower to run on high speed.

The only way to change the blower speed was to take it off Max by sliding the temp lever a notch over to the right.

Maybe that is why he is asking about the speeds.

I remember in the late 80s to 90s those old style blower switches were hard to find, too.

Yes that is the way it works. I did not know about moving temp slider slightly towards hot so to have all speeds till last Sept.
