not when it's all new stuff and only a few years old now.

especially not when it ran fine, rebuild the tb and it runs aweful.

I got accel wires on it and ac delco plugs, they've been on it for about 4 years now I think.

Have you checked the wires running to the injectors where they enter the TB?

Yeah, check those wires carefully. I had some problems with mine shorting out against the air cleaner riser the other day and it wouldn't run for ****.

Yeah, you would hope that they would have given more thought to that spacer design, with wires running near it...especially 2 charged with 12v near a fine spray of fuel.

Did you try that trick with a jumper wire and a screwdriver to locate a leak in the ignition wires?

never checked the plug wires, I was just going to switch them out.

As for the tb wires yeap thems ok.

I think I may have figured it out though, unhooked the esc module, didn' seem to stumble anymore when trying to rev, have not tested it out yet, will soon.

John (paw paw) got your stuff boxed going to send back this week one day, It'll be usps priority.

Also working on a deal for a carb setup so we'll see how that works.

If I could find a known good esc module to try I would and leave it be for now, but I'm not paying like a hundo or a buck fitty for a stinkin esc module if I can work out the carbed deal it'd be free(just labor) and not worry about any of it I'd hope, like warm restarts and stalling switching gears.

Mmmm....You say it runs better advanced, and its running better with the esc unplugged....My is thinking that its possible the knock sensor wire is chaffed and grounding out, or possibly pinched? If so, the ecm is pulling out timing, which has you adding it at the dizz.

I put in an injector spacer and did the capacitor mod today, much better throttle response for sure but still runs a little rich.

Reset the ecm and check with ALDL after. Did you set TPS to .54?

I think his harness got jacked up somehow. Who whoa whoa...Chriss, Have you checked your VSS? Even if the speedo works, how about the wire going to the ECM?

Jim - why would mine stay in open loop all the time? Bad CTS though it reads?
