Mark taps the holes for screw in plugs. Epoxy on the thread, then installs them, finally a lil over them. That's the proper way.

Lots better after I fixed my screw up. Left a intake bolt out and couldn't figure out where my vac leak was coming from.

Lol I wouldn't know. Got the carb on but haven't driven it but a couple miles because it's not running right. I have idled through an entire tank of gas working on it though.

Damn, you must have a fuel leak somewhere. Have you checked all your rubber hoses under the truck?

Na I don't have a leak. I have just let it idle for hours trying to figure out my idle issues. The 4mpg we were referring to was due to the old 1406 that I just replaced with a qjet.
