 Nice truck! When you say 3" shackles, do you mean they are 3 inches longer, or they dropped the truck 3 inches? How much of the bed cross rail did you have to cut?

Here's my 81 GMC Sierra. Cut coil and a half from front and flipped the axle in the rear. Very cheap way to drop, and if you don't mind a little bounce, it's the least expensive way to make your truck look alot better. Unfortunatly, I was hoping this drop would fix the one inch lean to the driver side but no luck.

Great thread.

Looks nice but you shouldnt have any bounce, did you cut out the bumpstop mounts front and rear?

J Knight:

No haven't cut the bump stop yet. Actually this weekend I will. It really only bumps when I go over ruff streets or railroad tracks.

Anyone:

Looking for the steering column cowl for the 3 speed shifter if anyone has one please let me know. Thank You
